Mary Aksdal

Mary was born and raised in nearby Huntington Beach, California and has been a team member at Gold Rush since 2018. An integral part of the Gold Rush family, Mary strives to execute proper technique and application of each tattoo with truth and integrity. Focusing on age old foundations and staples of contemporary modern electric tattooing and relying on rich history in American traditional, Japanese content and Black & Grey imagery to draw from. Continuing a solid reputation of proper tattooing in Southern California and paying homage to previous masters, her approach, attitude, work ethic, and dedication to her craft and shop is both balanced and inspiring.
