Get enough rest the night before, eat a healthy meal and hydrate before coming in for your tattoo.
To get tattooed, bring valid identification including picture and birthdate. Must be 18 years old (CA law).
Ensure you’re substance (alcohol and drugs) free, this will just cause more pain and bleeding.
If this is your first time getting a tattoo from us at Gold Rush Tattoo or in general, “WELCOME”. Rest assured we are here to make you feel comfortable. A big question we get for first time clients is, “Will it hurt”? Everyone’s pain tolerance is different so make sure to read the below FAQ section to prepare yourself ahead of time.
We tattoo walk-ins (no deposit/no appt needed) everyday. It’s first come, first served based on availability with most artists and can change each day with booked appointments and fluidity within schedules.
You can bring in a design you have or choose from a large selection of our hand painted tattoo designs adorning the front lobby and walls of the shop. We can also help design/create a custom image ranging from small to large based on idea.

Do you accept walk-in tattoos?
Yes, everyday. First come, first served upon availability.
Do I need to leave a non-refundable deposit for a tattoo appointment?
Yes, all tattoo appointment require a deposit.
This can be made in the shop during a consultation or over the phone through credit card.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, credit card, debit card, limited forms of payments apps.
Do I need to be 18 years of age to get a tattoo in the state of California?
Yes, California state law requires an adult of 18 years of age to get a tattoo. No parental or legal guardian signatures, no exceptions.
Do you offer piercings?
No
Can I get my tattoo appointment deposit refunded?
No, all tattoo deposits are non-refundable
Is the 2 hour parking enforced in front of the shop?
No
Is the tattoo shop ADA accessible?
Yes, we meet all California standards on ADA accessibility and compliance. We are located on the ground (first) floor.
Do I need to make an appointment?
NO. We tattoo walk-ins every day. Consultation appointments are encouraged and are usually required to be made before intricate or larger scale tattoo appointments are made. During this time you will meet with your Tattoo Artist and review ideas, artwork, placement, details, cost and more.
